I met this guy at Machu Picchu near Cusco. There were several wild lamas wandering around the ruins, chewing grass and enjoying the sun. This wasn't taken with a zoom lens either, he didn't seem to mind me sitting right next to him. We spent around 30 mins hanging out together, he was by far the coolest lama I have ever met.
Iguassu, Brazil Ok so I cheated a little with this photo. It was taken at an Avery in Brazil near Iguassu Falls. There were hundreds of different exotic bird flying around and this guy flew down and sat right next to me, literally a meter away. Toucans are amazing to see in real life.
