Beach camping in Palawan, The Philippines. Checking for glass with bare feet, before we put the tent down. This was one of the many beautiful beaches we stopped at during our Tao Expedition trip across Palawan from El Nido to Coron
Adopted by a Vietnamese family..
A Vietnamese family that i met on a bus from Phenom Phen to Saigon adopted me and took me to stay at their home in a village in the middle of nowhere.
Worlds roughest road:
Bus from Madalay to Bagan. It was like driving a long a river bed for 4 hours straight, in a bus hot bus with no A/C that smelled like B.O. and vomit. It was a fun ride to say the least.
Perth Easy Backpackers, the shittiest hostel in Australia and maybe the world certainly the worst i have stayed in. Made for a fun few days though.
Settling in for the 12 hour bus ride from Marrakesh to the Sahara Desert
Does my turban look OK...

Beat up van, Philippines. One of the 12 vehicles we took on a twelve hour travel day across the Philippines from Bantayan to Boracay Island.
How to cover dirty hotel sheets. We checked into a filthy hotel near Mandalay. This was the deluxe room, we upgraded after seeing being state of the first room. This one wasn't much better.
Rough road to Lashio in Burma.
This was the beginning of one the most stressful 4 hours of my life, the roads just kept on getting worse and worse, riding along cliff edges with less than a foot of space and little room for error.
New Zealand's got talent Audition tape: Alanis Morissette let's talk about you. We borrowed a friends car for the weekend for a road trip and the CD player was stuck on this song for most of the trip..
Worlds Ugliest Hat, The Philippines. While shopping in Manila on my last day in the Philippines I really wanted to buy some clothes. Sanna thought this hat suited me and convinced me to buy it. As soon as i left the store i came to my senses and tried to return it but they wouldn't take it back. Im not surprised probably the only one they ever sold.
Racing through the streets of Siem Reap to make the sunrise at the Angkor Wat
The sun that didn't rise over Angkor Watt. I pushed my way through the crowd of thousands waiting to see the sunrise over the Wat and set up my tripod.
After the sunrise that didn't rise Angkor Wat
